Most dominant how?? You didn’t win a single match by over 50 points. There have been sides who have won 2/3 finals by over 100 points. Our 07 team broke the record for largest grand final margin of all time.

So I have no idea how your drawing that idea anyway.
You played against the weakest opposition ever and ours was the 5th most dominant finals on record, these are facts, not wishful thinking.

We have already confirmed the 07 as weakest ever, I understand why you dont mention the other two flags, seeing as they will forever be under the cloud of having Dank involved.

Most dominant how?? You didn’t win any of them by over 50 points. There have been teams who have won multiple finals by over 100 points. So strange call.

Also your opposition was much weaker you played. Making it a less credible finals run and also a much easier finals series than if you faced quality opposition.

This Richmond side is easily one of the worst two, just look at how they are backing it up right now also, terrible form

I realise that being a Cats supporter you probably switched off midway through the last quarter, but Richmond beat Geelong by 51. They also beat GWS by 6 goals and the Crows by 8. Not one team got near them.

As for Geelong’s 07, yeah they pantsed North and Port, but they fell over the line by 5 points against the Pies.

3/3 dominant finals compared to 2/3 dominant finals.

Gotta laugh at the Geelong fans going hard AF right now trying to convince everyone the Tiges are struggling. The gave away a big head against the Blues start but still easily came over the top of them despite the AFL even admitting they gave Carlton free goals. Then they faded late in a game they weren’t expected to win against the Crows after hanging with them all match.

Sitting 1-1 exactly where we thought with games against our bigches Hawthorn and Brisbane coming up.

Like every Sydney flag with COLA?

The AFL has bent over for decades trying to buy you flags, at least we did it the old fashioned way by developing our own players and making top 4 without the aid of a cheat ground
Without the aid of a cheat ground? **** me dead, you played the GF on your home ground, against an interstate team, who were also the minor premiers. Didn't you also play the QF against the Cats at the G? Half understandable given the crowd numbers, but that doesn't make it any less illegitimate. I don't think there is anything respectable about it come to think of it.

Admittedly, the Qualifying final was up against very poor competition, due to this particular teams cheat ground advantage which gets them in the finals almost every year, but can't win them due to a sub par team that gets shown up on the big stage nowadays without their steroids that won them 3 cheat flags recently. We didn't choose to play these pretenders, was just the way it unfolded. 51 point victory = solid win

As for the pre-lim, in which we deservedly played at the MCG as well, that was the hardest of our finals. Up against the synthetic monster that is GWS,(shit on the MCG thankfully) in which we steadily wore them down and then the great Adelaide team obviously just shat the bed in the Granny. Its not rocket surgery. All fair and square.

Not one tiger supporter has said we are anything special, just that we deserve a little more respect after a tough 3-4 decades, and then reeling out the most dominant finals display this century. :thumbsu:. 90% of posters agree it was a pretty special year to be a tiger supporter and are very happy to at least concede we fairly won a flag with the same rules that have been in place since the turn of the century.

You know, even those same rules that were in place when your team started its systematic doping program in 06-07. Pretty sure that might have been against the rules though :$ Regardless, it seems the only supporter base that can't deal with it is Geelol. Why are you guys still sooking it up? It's weird. Is it jealousy? Big real pro club, shit ton of members and support. Or maybe just the 11 flagso_O that upsets you?

As fellow tiger Grin said to a Geelol fan in your safe house thread "Let it all out, thats what tears are for." :(

I always remember great teams by the players, look at Brizzy with Voss, Aka, Black, the Hawks with Buddy, Ruffy, Burger, Hodge and Mitchell, the Cats with Gaz, Jimmy, Selwood, Enright, Corey. Then you have the Dogs with....... Ummm.....???? And the Tigers with Dusty and.... Ummm. .. ...?????

If we where to line the finals up and compare it would look like

Qualifying: Geelong bigger margin
Prelim: Richmond bigger margin
Grand final: Geelong bigger margin

That’s 2/3 Geelong. And a massive 40% on percentage if you do a ladder.

70 point difference in the grand final margin says it all.

Then add in the much much superior home away season.

They are not even on the same planet

Didn’t get to end of this but I scanned through to get the idea of your waffle.

You didn’t play a single elite side, GWS are still 2-3 years off being at their straps, Adelaide had a very average midfield, and Geelong had a lot of holes in their side with developing young kids.

You played weak opposition in a watered down competition.

You also had a pretty average home away season compared to previous winners.

I can’t think of a single area you can claim Yu are better than any previous winners besides the bulldogs.

Geez, the Bulldogs have really gone out ahead on who had the worst Bradbury.

Gotta admit bulldogs are the Flemington racecourse ahead at the moment. Ridhmobd is the clear number 2 thought.

By seasons end the way Richmond is going we might be able to debate if it’s bulldogs or Richmond depending if Richmond sneak into the 8 or not.

That isn’t close to the most dominant.

Just about every match in the finals series was won by a similar margin as well. It was quite reflective of the way the games are being played as opposed to a dominance by Richmond.

You're so consumed with bitter envy. You're marvelous.

Every match was won by 6 goals or more.

Richmond didn’t do anything out of the ordinary of how all the other finals matches were played.

More of a reflection of the style and way the game was played across the finals. Just a more open attacking year of play win margin blowouts.

So Richmond having the most dominant finals this century = weakest
Richmond having to compete against 17 other teams = weakest.
Geelong, Stephen Dank and, as you insist, only competing against a couple of other genuine contenders = strongest.

I think you know the truth but are so utterly envious and triggerred that you can't admit it to yourself.
Your little club can only compete when it's playing with advantages not afforded to other teams.
Take yesterday for example. It took a amazing umpiring performance for your mob to compete. Even with the umpires desperately trying to get you over the line, you still lost, at a neutral venue.
