One dimensional:thumbsdown:

So was Mat Lloyd for 10 years.

This kid has similar attributes.

Lead, mark and kick a goal.

He was looking ok until he suffered shock with the Polak accident.

The game against Carlton could have been his confidence booster.

What happened after that stuffed him up for the rest of the year.

Don't write him off as one dimensional just yet. An improving midfield may just make a difference.

HBT.

i rate him :thumbsu:

We play a better brand of footy when hes in the side, straightens us up and plays as a focal point should. YThought he took some big steps last season, expect him to come on and shut some of the ignorant fools up on here

Finally! someone rates him! thank you Mr Montana! lol

The beauty about Cleve is since he's one dimension he's either going to be a gun like Lloyd or Fev... or he'll be a dud and get delisted sooner rather than later.

In 6 months we shall know the answer

He's put on a fair bit of muscle over the pre season, however at training on wednesday he looked unfit and he missed about 30 shots at goal and he was raging hardcore haha

if he played 22 games he would easily kick 60 goals.

for the people who are good with computers & google how old was fevola when he finally become a regualar in the carlton team & how old was he when he kicked over 50 goals a season 2 years in a row.

What else do you want from a foward people? He takes a good grab and kicks a good goal. Atleast he can put it through the middle unlike Richo. This is Richo's last year, hes been a great but his time is coming up just like Johnson then year after Brown, Simmonds and Bowden probably last of all of them.

Richo's stats were good this season, I agree on that but.. you guys have to agree his goal kicking has always been woeful which hurts us in so many matches, his disposal when around the wing area can cost us going other way and his decision making is also poor sometimes. Plus side of him is his still a good contributer for his age and when hes on fire hes really on fire and lifts the team. I love him, I hate him .. but time for him to go at end of next season and I hope he doesn't play all 22 matches, give Cleve a go and Gourdis.

Red card Barnzy.

Anyone who thinks Lloyd or Fev are one-dimensional needs to have a look at their collections of snaps and roving goals. Both, especially Fev, are excellent ground-level players. Cleve ain't but I agree with montana that he straightens us up. I can see him kicking 40-50 next year.
