I might buy that for Simmo, but let's be honest. They look as clueless as a lot of the youngsters and butcher the ball just as badly.
As for Bolton's message, can't say any of them have got it, since Neil Craig left.
Half the reason they are always under pressure is they don't know where the next guy is supposed to be or he doesn't know where to be, and they panic.
I'm talking about the game today not generally. Most of this team is very inexperienced. Young players take time to learn the ins and outs. Patience is what is needed. I'm annoyed to but the reality is we aren't going to win these games without Murphy, Simpson, Daisy, Jones and Doc.

A sincere question for the Richmond folks in here: How bad were the Tigers when some folks said “enough” and put together that “focus on football” ticket in an attempt to roll the board? I know you folks aren’t too proud of that episode, but gee, you have to admire that there were some proud Richmond folks who didn’t think the performances were acceptable and put their hand up to do something about it ...

... so my point is: Why hasn’t anybody done that at Carlton yet? How bad do things need to get before the Carlton board get turfed out? Has that club lost all pride??
Yeah it defiantly was brave and enough was enough. Firstly our issues stemed back from the 80's with the constant sacking of coaches & next to zero consistency. Wallace era in fairness to him he didn't have the off field support and again ruined his coaching career. Best thing was the massive clean out be

Yeah it was a brave move with enough is enough. Our issues stemed back in the 80's with the constant coach career killing and next to zero consistency. Then the failures during the Frawley & Wallace era's and in fairness to them they didnt have the off field support which end up killing thier careers. The massive clean out and actually bringing in business minded people helped in the likes of Gale and Peggy O'Neil. Spent more on the recruiting department and targeted the like of Neil Balme and co. all above is very similar in what Carlton are going through. I think they need to start fresh and get rid of the old dead wood who are calling the wrong shots. This needs to be done asap because losing next generation support is one thing but i actually really feel sorry for the long suffering blues fans beacuse like I said we we went through it for 30 odd years so i know how they're feeling!!

Yeah, who needs another chance at a player like Sam Walsh again

Especially when the number 1 and 2 picks in Noah Anderson and Matt Rowell are both ahead of Walsh and in my opinion are superior players.

Apparently Bolton said in his presser that "Cripps played a sacrificial role today" so he could "open up" the other mids? Or something to that effect?

And people wonder why Cripps had a stinker of a game.

Why would you "sacrifice" your best play-maker and one of the best players in the competition?

I was ridiculed for saying that Cripps had given up fighting today (well by one idiot Bombers supporter), but I think it's pretty evident that the players realise his tactical decisions are just impeding on their development and most likely want him gone. They're not playing for him or for his gameplan (if you can call it that). Bolts is a nice guy and I have been sitting on the fence about him for quite some time, but I can't really be on his side when he says stuff like that.

When Carlton can't get up for an Essendon game like today, something has gone horribly wrong at the club. I was genuinely surprised at their lack of fight, regardless of ladder position ESS vs CARL are generally close-fought games. Bolton is on borrowed time. SOS really should be going with him, but being a club legend may save him. A third grader could have done well at his GWS job with all the top 10 picks he had at his disposal

that's so inept i can't posssibly believe that to be the case. if that's true my only explanation for that is that he's trying to get fired

Yes, now people can see what we already knew, we weren’t tanking last year, we are just awful.

The other good thing about the way Carlton traded out their first round pick is that they set expectations. Having done that, there’s no way they can finish with a large discrepancy on Adelaide and spin that it’s all part of some masterplan. Some Carlton folks will try (Stocker), but being reasonable, Walsh has been awesome and the’s no way you’d trade the 2019 version of Walsh for 2ish Stockers.

They’re going **** but seriously, imagine sacking any coach to bring is Brad ****in Scott. Lol, give us a spell big footy.
The media told me that Scott coached a bunch of district footballers to a couple of prelims though. We saw on Friday night how bad we are without him.

They have and they are. They are fully justifying the trade as a win on their board. Their supporter base blindingly believe this was a good trade back last year in December.

That to me is where the problems with the Club begin with. SOS is a false prophet, but is viewed as the messiah.
