Skills How to try out with a VFL club?

Hey guys just wondering how i could find a spot at a VFL club, would love to train and press for a spot on a senior list. who do i contact, who will they let train with them and what will it take to get on a list. ive played my whole life and i am looking to try my hand at vfl level but have no invites to a vfl club but i beleive i could make it. any ideas from anyone as to how i could get a gig at least training.

get the coaches number and ring them up

if you have an old coach who knows someone maybe he can vouch for ya

You would be a tad late now

Most clubs have already pre-selected their 90-100 odd people wishing to trial and starting to cut players into their two main squads

If he is good enough it wouldn't matter.

Only way to do it is to get in contact with the coaches.

How many new players do the clubs get each year? And would you contact the club about a trial, would that be the best way?
