We apparently have the highest public servants wage of any state surely some of those lazy campaigners on to this

It's all hands on deck if they said to be me in local government to do contact tracing then i will be glad to to

Wasn't SA fault two people opened their doors at the same time can't predict that

Potentially they need to put those in quarantine with covid in one hotel and the others in another hotel

It was Dan Andrews' fault personally when the last lockdown happened, and they released a report about ventilation which SA have ignored.

THere was also a report and recommendations about Quarantine which the Commonwealth has ignored.

It's one thing to experience something for the first time. It's another to ignore advice and make the same mistake that others have learned from.

Should have put both those door openers in a dedicated, national, quarantine facility where doors opening like that wouldn't have caused a transmission.

Perhaps being built last year, to create infrastructure jobs and improving the economy at the same time...

That's too common sense for the government we will have facilities by 2030

Would you listen to Dan haha

Funny how the LNP fans in here want to ignore the bloke who admitted to feeling sick for almost a week and swanned around infecting others instead of getting tested. During a pandemic.

I thought they were big on personal responsibility.
Only if it politically serves their needs.
Look at Pink Batts rollout for example.

By then the Feds might've finalised their vacc rollout as well
Hard when there isn't any vaccinations down here and with the fear around getting vaccinated

Aren’t any vaccinations down here?

That’s simply not true anymore. Supply is not an issue.
In our area mum has tried 5 different doctors and the same answer is given sorry we have no supply

The mass vacc centres won’t have that issue. If I were you I’d be advising her to go to one of those.

None really local think the nearest is dandenong or pakenham

He's about as popular as a sneeze in an elevator outside his Silver Spoon world of Hawthorn/Kew.
"Sneeze" in an elevator? Covid related adjustment - like it.:D

Still vividly remember Frydo pouring s**t on his State during an our earlier lockdown. And the classic response from the Vic Health Minister was "Just because you're from Victoria doesn't mean you're for Victoria" Still applies.

I think the tide has shifted, The federal LNP know that their lack of action has caused this and that the states are getting sick of doing their job for them.

The NSW Govt never found their missing link, even months later, they still have no idea.

Also, this outbreak was caused by SA's Hotel Quarantine. But I haven't heard the same idiots calling for the head of the SA Premier because they let a case get through HQ.

The people bagging the Vic Govt are now onto the contact tracing as the major problem, so much so that if they call too many people because people are giving false phone numbers then they're in trouble too. They're supposed to call 50,000 people from the footy and have half an hour with each of them about their movements over the last 2 weeks.

50,000 people at half an hour each is 25,000 hours. 18 waking hours in a day (no point calling people at 2am). They'd need 1,400 contact tracers just to get through that in a day. Even divide that figure by 10 to isolate to the bays those people are in, it's still a lot of contact tracing to be done.

Victoria also never found the cause of the Christmas outbreak either, not a good strike rate!

Btw figure the other day were we had 2,400 people in the contact tracing team so by your figures they should be doing it easy...

yes they did, they traced it back to the NSW outbreak.

Judging by the exposure sites, including 2 locations named as potential exposure points on May 13th, they may have found the missing link between Wollert man and Case 5.
