If Fev was sacked by the lions would you be interested?

Positives
• Cheap as his contract would have been ripped up and we could offer him a much cheaper contract
• Still a really good player which was evident this year when he was fit
• Would help the likes of Watts, Cook and Jurrah develop
• Would help us reach the finals
• Means we could play Green in a number of other positions which at times we need

Negatives
• Creates a shit storm wherever he goes
• May influence our young group in a negative ways
• May ruin the seemingly positive culture at our club

Thoughts?

Firstly it will never happen him coming to the Demons!

Secondly why would anyone even entertain the thought of recruiting this moron?I don't think he's all that good for a start plus an appalling attitude to go with it!

No.

Didn't read OP, answer is still no.

Makes no sense for us to get a 30yo trouble maker (even if it is trouble for himself).

Whoever voted yes must be a troll.

i'm brisbane supporters were thinking exactly the same things before they picked him, and look how that has turned out. he wont change for any club, despite numerous chances. do not want

The boy is a meat head and an idiot.
How he ever made it to the AFL and stayed in it for so long, makes me wonder. All he is doing is taking away a chance of someone more deserving to play AFL. If Brisbane sack him, football will be better off.

Bailey wouldnt go near him so it will be never happen.

He has all the talent in the world but he is simply a cancer. How many finals games he he played in his 12 year career? 1?

He's what we need but a big fat NO from me.

I agree unfortunately it is Brisbane or no where for Fev.
He is out of options.
His problem is simple he is an alcoholic.
For his sake and his children's I hope he can admit it and gets on the wagon.

Nope.

Haven't read any of the posts, and I am all for forgiveness and giving people a second, third even fourth chance if under the right circumstances.

But I would absolutely not want him at our club.

I do feel for the guy though, I'm not a Fev-hater.

I wouldn't touch him with a ten-foot clown pole.
(basically only replied to this thread so I could use a Simpsons quote)

RE feeling sorry for him, I did a bit when Carlton sacked him, but FFS how many second chances can you give a guy?

I dont feel sorry for him at all. He is a moron. Always has been, always will.
You cant help someone if they wont help themselves.

Some of the firehydrant/girls stories showed his character early, but Fev really lost me when he went over to Ireland representing the Aussies and punched that barman for no reason.

I cannot imagine a more embarassing representation of my country
