Was quite confused with that one. After all the random shit which we have seen go on in the past two weeks, these votes would be up there. Absolutely would not be surprised if that happened too.

Jesus christ man get some perspective. Selwood has played sacrificial football at Geelong from the age of 18 that directly contributed to 3 flags, upon arrival at the club he actively helped change the culture of selfishness that had been there for a while. In his first year. And hasn't let up since.

Cotchin started the year after Selwood,has been playing nearly 10 years and but for this year was regarded as player who's style didn't impact games or lift the team often enough.

Shouldn't have Geelong fans been rooting for him NOT to top the count? I remember when Mitchell was ineligible and a hot favourite I was groaning when he was leading at some stage.

Not really.

He’s already got a medal, it’s not like Grant or Mckernan where that one chance missed would eat away at them forever. Finishing with the most votes would still be a nice endorsement that what you’re doing is good.

I didn't want him to win for this reason but it's jus annoying because he was robbed 3 votes in the way Priddis was gifted votes in 2014 to avoid the Fyfe fiasco.

Pffft giving Duncan votes in that match over him.

I had a bet on Menegola to get 3 that round paying $6 because I had the hunch a dodgy would happen. Menegola was second best to Dangerfield that day. Instead Menegola got 2 votes as he should have and Duncan was inserted in there. Has the markings of a name swap IMO.
 
Fyfe probably should have been suspended 3 or 4 times in 2015.

Danger stiff he didn't get the benefit of Charlie's halo.
