With all the trades this year and the increase in sideways trading I thought it would be interesting to see how peoples trade work out the week they do them.

Obviously a trade is more long term than that but we constantly see people in the vent/kudos thread talking about the players they brought in. So here is mine last weekend:

Out: Masten (93), Watts (38)
In: Murphy (84), Leuenburger (74)

Round 2 total: +27
Season total: +27

Out: Whitfield (102), Scooter (87)
In: Mundy (70), Moloney (101)
R2: -18

FMDT.

Trades for RD3 are going to be an equally spectacular fail I think... leaving $250k in the bank for R4 trades....:mad::mad::mad::mad:

kinda hard to quantify the longer switch as we only picked longer as a placeholder for luey, and longer only didn't play because luey did, so it looks like we gained a lot more than we did since that was the plan all along and longer would have probably scored 50-60 anyway. early trades are also much more about $$$ than points too obv obv.

but anyway out: longer (0), martin (93)
in: luey (74), jjk (97)

r2 +78

Out: Smith(34), Harper(29)
In: Kreuzer(91), Rowe(59)

Dwyer(90) was on the field instead of Harper/Rowe though...

So R2 = +118
Total = +118

Out Lecras (0), Longer (0)
In JJK (97), Berger (74)
+171
No brainer really.

So what you had no bench in either position? Kind of overstating it a bit, don't you think?

All these Longer trades are BS calculations as I'm sure you have playing ruck benches.

I meant, it was false economics.. I HAD to trade them out, so my + figure is inflated, thus this comparing these figures are flawed.
Nil playing bench rucks, Tom Lee (did not play) and Karnezis (9).. so -9, +162.. still a load of shit :thumbsu:

Terrible trades yogi, the rules haven't changed overnight.

They didn't change overnight, but they sure did changed compared to the last two years of DT. Overall capital is so much more critical again, and with more trades, comes more outlets to increase capital. So, if all my rookies are perfect, then I'm damn well going to sideways trade. (Grrrr Whitfield... I posted on here asking about why he was so crap in Round 1 considering he was playing wing the entire time, but no one informed me I had nothing to worry about... [Sadly I had to work 12 hr days for 21 days now, instead of 8 to 5 so 3 out of every 6 w/e's I don't get to watch the day matches]).
