That’s why you do HotSpot. Dumbass backward rich BCCI

I don’t thinks it’s limited to money. Based on what I’ve read there are some restrictions about which countries are and are not allowed to use it anymore because it is a military grade technology and you actually require clearances to use it. Don’t shoot the messenger, that’s just what I’ve read from a quick search.

At any rate, it is as less conclusive than snicko itself.

It’s a complimentary technology rather than a conclusive one.

It used to be the first one they’d go to because it was immediate but would occasionally miss some (and then there was the tape on the bat issue) and then they would go to Snicko as it would take a minute or two to process, and would generally be more conclusive

Interesting if correct , but I don’t think it’s less conclusive. I agree with you that it’s a complementary data point.

Channel 9 pioneered it, but who developed it is the question.

Think it was pioneered in England

Yeah, you might be right but I seem to remember 9 making quite a big deal about it. I might get a bit of a look going after this finishes. Great game. The Kiwis have just gotta hold their nerve here. But so do the Indians.

Edit. Wikipedia says Australian developed from military tech , first used Gabba 2006/7 Ashes. Take that with the Wikipedia grain of salt.

I don't know why Latham keeps bowling Phillips at that end, we need to give Henry or Sodhi or go to try and change things up.

Phillips is a good part time bowler but you should be backing in your frontline bowlers in this situation.

Because he takes crucial wickets

You would make a terrible captain

Fear. One bad over from Sodhi and there’s half the target gone.

The time to bowl him was when Pant was at the crease: pant will attack anyone anyway, there’s no point bowling your ‘economical’ bowlers trying to control him: he scored 64 off 57 while the rest of the team went 9-45 off 114.

All sodhi would have done as a leg spinner is present a danger as a bigger spinner of the ball with, realistically, no extra risk of going for runs as Pant will attack no matter what.

That time has probably now passed
