Who does Dorff have to realistically beat to get a game in the national side?

Jhye? Unfortunately he keeps getting injured
Starc? Hasnt played enough domestic T20 cricket in BBL or IPL. Plus, not winning the T20 world cup, selectors are thinking what needs to change.
Cummins? His focus these days is on red ball cricket. He knows he will be judged on red ball cricket.
Meredith? The fact Dorff is playing ahead of him for Mumbai , suggests there is a pecking order.
Spencer Johnson? I admit he had a good season last season for the Heat. If he has another good season in the 23/24 BBL he may be a dark horse to make it.
Tye- Didnt get selected for this years IPL and from what Ive seen of him in national colours , usually got belted a fair bit at international level.

Also feel that Dorff playing on a winning teams and at the highest T20 level, gives himself a better chance than players from the Sixers, which includes : Sean Abbott and Dwarshuis.
He's just a wicket taker.

Even when he gets some tap he usually takes early wickets.

Mumabi restrict and peg back RCB to 199/6

And I reckon its an advatnage to Mumbai at the change of innings.

Big Tim David will be looking to continue his good form form the last game. It looks like a wicket he will enjoy if he gets in.
Maxwell again into the 60,s but getting out again with 7 overs to go and missed a chance of a match winning innings but a competitive team total.

Im not sure but this kind of cricket beats the Ashes every day of the week. The traditionalists will be not happy to hear that but these games will be remembered for years to come, generations to come. Young ones all over the world now aspire to be the next Rinku Singhs, Andre Russells etc
What happened in Game 54 of last years tournament? All the matches are just so memorable it should be easy to recall.

Umm injury scare for Greenie last night NYRB??
Nothing wrong from what I saw.

He took the catch of the game last night and got a pay cheque of 100,000 (whatever it is in their local currency) and came out to bat not out .

Think he will be good to go next game.

And Game 55 between Chennai and Delhi tonight.

The Australian connection of Bison Marsh and David Warner , go up against Dhoni and Jadeja.

Chennai are a difficult team to beat on their home patch.

Havent looked at the remaining fixtures but one would think mathematically it would be impossible for Delhi to make the Playoffs from here, if they lose tonight. And for Chennai a win tonight, cements their double chance prospects .

Ive done a bit of research into this years IPL up to game 54 of the boundaries v dot balls faced.

A big reason why I think David Warner shouldnt be in the national team is he doesnt seem to be hitting the boundaries at a frequent enough frequency and is accumulating too many dot balls. In an ideal world, you want to be on the top left hand corner. KL Rahul, Kohli and Warner have been criticised for being relatively slow in the Powerplays.

And what that image shows is , Cam Green is coming out there and playing with intent straight away, which kind of surprised me- considering the calibre of players there. He doesnt tend to get too many dot balls or get bogged down in his innings.

Not your best work there mate.

If your a Perth Scorcher of Western Australian cricket fan, your all chips in on Mumbai Indians in this years IPL .

Its the WA connection- The Dorff, Tim David and Cameron Green.

Speaking of WA Connection. Is Cam Green an Eagle or a Docker?

Neither Kangaroos Fan ....Mitch marsh and Punter influence ...I think he did say he did have a soft spot for west coast
