McHenry’s concussion did not look good. He’s had one or more concussions previously hasn’t he?

I hope we will be very cautious on his return timelines. Sequential serious concussions can be a career ender.
I got worried when hamill got tackled and he hit the ground early in the game and got up very slowly. Just thought oh no not another concussion for the lad but he played out the game so fingers crossed he is all ok

Replays showed that his head didn't actually make contact with the ground, his shoulder took most of the blow. Would have rattled him, and others watching, for sure.

Not sure why he doesn't wear a helmet like Daniel at the Dogs does..even if it only gives him 5% better protection than no helmet, it is worth doing

Jones McHenry Hamill have now all suffered multiple concussions. Sick of it.

Matt Crouch's injury has blown out a bit from the original plan.

Luke Pedlar (groin) 1-2 weeks
Matt Crouch (groin) 1-2 weeks
Ned McHenry (concussion) concussion protocol
Daniel Talia (foot) 4-5 weeks
Lachlan Gollant (finger) 5-6 weeks
Lachlan Murphy (ankle) 8-10 weeks
Tom Lynch (toe) 8-10 weeks
Mitch Hinge (shoulder) season
Wayne Milera (knee) season

Season over for Crouch. Going in for surgery according to Rowie.
It had that feeling (if Rowe is correct)..and foresaw this

Ahh bleddy knew it. Matt Crouch a few weeks back was listed as 1-2 weeks..well here we are 2 weeks later and now it seems the injury is on another seetback and its not 1-2 weeks at all..I am expecting him to be listed as an indefinite soon and we will be lucky to see him this year

I've had this feeling that the club are looking after Tals and Matt. Letting them do their surgeries early, making sure they are right for 2022.

We are tankng.

Both will leave at the end of the year in mutually beneficial with the club departures.

If it does happen our list of departed club champions would be pretty long, Rehn, Bock, Bernie, Tals, Danger, Brad and Matt.

I can see Matt going, but not Talia. Talia may retire, but I can't see him going anywhere via trade or FA. Like Walker, he'll be a single club player.

Talia is one of my favourites, I was there the night he won the club champion, he loves the club.

He has his new house in Melbourne, we are in full rebuild, he could still get a flag back home. Leaves with our blessing and appreciates being able to get his body right for 2022.

Could see Matt in Sydney next year.

if it's good enough for Mitchell and Hodge, it's good enough for Talia. I wouldn't be surprised if he signs a 2 year transition to coaching contract at a club like North Melbourne.

Crows midfielder Matt Crouch will undergo surgery on his right groin to alleviate persistent pain which has prevented him from playing.

The 26-year-old All-Australian, who also had an off-season operation on his right hip, has not played since Adelaide’s pre-season game against Port Adelaide at Noarlunga in March.

The decision to operate comes after a period of conservative rehabilitation, as well as the latest in a series of consultations with a specialist and the Club’s medical team.

Injury list as of Tuesday, May 18:

Luke Pedlar (groin) test
Ned McHenry (concussion) concussion protocol
Matt Crouch (groin) TBC
Daniel Talia (foot) 3-4 weeks
Lachlan Gollant (finger) 4-5 weeks
Lachlan Murphy (ankle) 8-9 weeks
Tom Lynch (toe) 8-9 weeks
Mitch Hinge (shoulder) season
Wayne Milera (knee) season

If we're planning to lose Crouch, the last thing we'd want is for him to lose most of his value sitting out a year.
