The one thing we learned from Trump 1.0 is the firings happen fast and frequently. Just ask Anthony "Hey it was 11 days" Scaramucci.

Will be interesting this time around whether we get the mass sackings of Trump 1.0. Even he admitted he didn't know what he was doing the first time and relied a lot on others on who to appoint. This time he goes in with eyes wide open and knowing who he wants. I don't think on this front atleast, it will be as chaotic... but time will tell.

House Ethics Panel Was Set to Vote to Release Report Critical of Matt Gaetz

The House Ethics Committee, which has been investigating allegations that Representative Matt Gaetz engaged in sexual misconduct and illicit drug use, was prepared to vote to release a highly critical report about him on Friday, according to a Republican official familiar with the matter. The release would have come two days after President-elect Trump selected the Florida congressman to be attorney general.

Gaetz abruptly resigned from his House seat late Wednesday, effectively ending the long-running investigation.

Do you think Senate will approve all of Don's captain picks? There would be some powerful and ambitious politicians on his side that might have expected some of these plum roles.

Talking of RFK Jr, I watched the (JFK) Kennedy doco on SBS last night which covered the 1946-56 years. Narrator was Ken Burns' usual narrator Peter Coyote, but Burns didn't produce this series.

I have struggled to see the RFK resemblance in juniors face, but from JFK's 1952 senate campaign, there was 1 black and white photo, and 1 short black and white video, that a young Bobby looked just like his son.

So, now those who supported Trump during the campaign are getting their rewards. The next four years are going to be shambolic for the world and even worse for those living in the US. Already China is gearing up for major loss of US market share.
There is another very strange wrap for Trump doing the rounds on youtube, where Sylvester Stallone compares the orange horror favourably to Jesus, and George Washington.

Stallone could never be described as the world's most eloquent actor but some of his gibbering about Trump could suggest Ivan Drago may have actually caused brain damage with a couple of those `fake' punches back in the Rocky days, or Sly thinks even he could be a chance to get a gig in Trumpty Dumpty's clown car of bizarre cabinet selections if he can indulge him with enough bum kissing!
