On day 1 he releases hundreds of "political prisoners" who committed violence on his behalf

He has been calling the free press an enemy of the state for years

He's stacked the courts, his party and promoted unqualified people into the highest positions of power who are yes men

He's continuously threatened retribution for his political enemies.

He's done everything he can to undermine the concept of objective truth or that experts in their field are qualified to advise and make decisions in their area of expertise.


None of us know the future, but you can't be THAT blind to not see the potential danger, or that this has all happened before.

If you can’t see that this is musk, one of the most powerful men in the world, openly telling Germans following a pro-nationalist extremist party not to be ashamed of a mass genocide is a call to arms for pro-nationalist (Nazi) supporters then I can only assume you don’t want to see that.

As with anything context is everything. You know the context here.

This isn’t a bunch of people who need convincing they should not feel something in their history was bad, and Elon isn’t robin Williams telling them “it’s not your fault. It’s not your fault”

it’s a man who just openly heiled Hitler at the inauguration of the wannabe dictator he installed addressing the followers of a pro-nationalist party in Germany.

My problems with the term nazi is that blue team throws this at people who disagree with them, this is just how many who follow blue team ideology behave. Secondly red team slings the same BS at blue team political opponents with the same level of evidence and youtube links.who am I to believe are " the good guys"

You may have a legit claim but it's come to point where this nonsense has expired for both sides its been going on for over a decade. None of these political ideologies have made the world a better place or evolved humanity to a higher level. Just greater division and pure hatred for each other, stemming from absolute garbage fear mongering conspiracies.

I am willing to believe you but if I am going to get myself into a mindframe where I'm in genuine fear Nazis are coming back into power your going to have to provide hard hitting evidence. I think that's a fair request given the context.

He bought Twitter/X and turned it from blue team BS to more red team BS ...boohoo...you still have reddit youtube google backing the blue....but if Zucks latest video cupping Trumps balls is to go by you may have lost Facebook too. The video where Zucks apologises for pushing your ideology. Looking forward to how Zucks comes out in the wash in the coming years.

None of this makes Musk a nazi or makes me believe nazis are going to come into any sort of power in the coming years. It will be just another 4 years of blue team v red team BS.

In one sense, if you're Elon, you're Trump's right hand man and you're chucking nazi salutes at his inauguration, you're gonna be labelled a Nazi.

But the Nazi thing is also a distraction. Trump is racist but he doesn't get up in the morning with a burning and genuine hatred of Jews. This won't play out just like WW2, even in its worst scenarios. He's motivated by power and corruption. But, all the things he's doing to turn a democracy into his fiefdom is absolutely something Hitler would recognise.

If you think Nazi is thrown around too liberally that's fine, you're probably right. But this is definitely not one of those "both sides are equally bad" things, red and blue just tell at each other etc. What's going on here is very different.

You are, you're both capable of destruction hatred and produce the same level of evidence for bias conspiracies. Obama/Joan rivers, Hillary emails podesta bros/jon bennet pizza gate eyes wide shut blue team behaviour. Instead of throwing nazi salutes blue teams throwing up devil/freemason signs.

Geez the cope in here. So, we think the guy who wants to cede power to the states wherever it belongs both in his first and current term is a fascist.. he seems to be doing it wrong, again.

I also agree yes Germany shouldn't be burdened by it's terrible past mistakes, two generations ago. Has anyone been to these places recently? If you haven't then look at some of the videos online, if you were living there and you're seeing your way of life rapidly disappear and voting the same way again is only going to accelerate that decline maybe terminally then you'd be ready to shed those guilty chains too.

There's also nothing really far right about the German or French opposition either besides wanting to curb illegal immigration to save their way of life. We only get a snippet (if it even makes the news here) of the horrors that were never an issue (even bigger scale in parts of the USA) that the locals now deal with, those kids getting stabbed at kindy last week is not the first time in Germany so no one should judge from afar how it feels to be those people.

Take a look what's happening in Ireland in small country towns etc, villages and ways of life destroyed by the government and it's the change that no one asked for which is causing the majority to put their foot down and vote for change and that change is not going to be from either establishment parties anywhere.
