2023 average AFL wage was $441k, even if you double ( highly unlikely) it it’s still well under a million. I guess I don't, maybe Luko is worth more than I think he is, but a future first from the Crows seems too much, a future first from Port is closer, IMO.
Maybe you haven't been around for many trade periods, but it happens all the time

Lukosius has a contract that is worse than Bowes. At least Bowes wanted to stay.

The Crows want to keep Rachele, and Rachele isn't on $1m a year.

The thing about Izaks wage was it was heavily front loaded. In the first year I heard it was like 1.5 mil, plus Adelaide wouldn't have to beat a Victorian team off for him to come home.
