Jack Stanley was among the first young Queenslanders to sign with the club.

Stanley grew up playing for Aspley in Brisbane. He made the shift to the Zillmere Football Club in 2008. It proved a successful move – while there he won selection in the 2008 Queensland Under 18 squad and at the same time caught the eye of the GC SUNS recruitment team.

A speedy and strong mid-sized defender, Stanley’s adaptability, work ethic and relative maturity may well see him snag senior opportunities in the GC SUNS debut AFL season.
