His position is not critical. I would wait until mid-season draft to see if a critical position replacement is needed (e.g. key defender, ruck) or there is a state league gun we can snap up.

More so because we have the ability to fill that possible need now (now it may not be clear what that position is yet) with the best available player whom may not be available at the point of a mid season draft either because they are picked in that draft before us or go in the last few days of the SSP. Should there be another long term injury we can also replace that like-for-like player (a ruckman or KPP) should we be in that position.
