Him: The players are the most remarkable group of men you'll ever meet ...

Her: The role these people played: Demetrio?

Him: He tried to play his role to protect the AFL ... he was put in a position of our doing, not his. But the procedural fairness that should have been followed was.t

Her: McLaughlin?

Him: He was the negotiator, the mover, I wouldn't say the 'manipulator' because that isn't a fair word.

Her: Evans?

Him: He was shocked ... a friendship ... a good man. Haven't spoken to him since 2013 (July).

Her: Little?

Him: Was put in a very difficult position, more than any other person, had to make pragmatic decisions. Fiery relationship at certain times. Believe he tried to do best him by EFC. May have made mistakes.

Her: Robinson?

Him: Ah ... I think Dean made large mistakes.

Her: Dank?

Him: Same. Full-Stop.

Her: Bomber?

Him: Passionate man, worked hard to make it a good place, he'd wish he'd have done more.

Her: Hird?

Him" I certainly made some errors of judgement. I trusted people. Hard to give you what my level of responsibility was. I was on a different line of responsibility. I had a big impact on that Club. I believe at all times I tried to make the best decisions for the players, at no time did I ever think PEDs would be at my club, still don't believe they were.

Her: You became a coach without the necessary training perhaps ...

Him: History will tell you no I wasn't the right man for the job.

Him: Did I trust people too much? Yes. A more experienced person in the role probably wouldn't have. Never did I believe, or did Thompson, or Corcoran, believe PEDs were entering our club.
