I get this angle for sure, but then why the 3 weeks?

It’s all a wank cause you know that if the same happens in a prelim, nobody’s getting rubbed out for it

And the bouble penalties of a grand final - they aren't getting 6 weeks!

The game is just being run in to the ground, it is so over managed it isn’t even funny. They have current players, ex players, coaches, media members and fans all constantly confused about what is and isn’t allowed.

They are rubbing out star players on a weekly basis for accidents with no malicious intent and no real error in technique. The game is becoming unplayable and it makes the product as a whole worse to watch.

The league is the most amateur run sports league in the world. What a joke

I suspect the severity of the impact/injury meant it was either going to be three weeks or none. The tribunal was really deciding whether the tackle/action was suspendable or not.

Hopefully the club appeals this one, the tribunal’s reasoning seems pretty flimsy…

The advantage of the North game is that it isn't a replacement game. So members aren't missing out on anything and the AFL gets no money from our supporters from it

Severe impact grading. Has to be minimum 3. Hence straight to the tribunal.

He was never getting off. The AFL had a video titled all the angles of the incident which just showed just 2 angles and half the video was McCluggage being taken off the ground. More focus on the result than the actual tackle

So true. They penalise an act almost universally regarded as not suspendable….and then somehow disproportionately penalise it for longer than any other act of a similar, or in most cases, more severe action.

Stinks. Doesn’t pass the test.
