It's more of a re-design than a re-development. Other vee designs are okay because they closely resemble previous Hawks home jumpers (something that seems to have been allowed in this comp since day dot, despite the rules outlawing it).

It can be considered a development of the Hawthorn chevron design, that'll make it eligible.
