Finding it pretty funny people have a go at freo for only offering 11 & next year 2nd round for hogan. When that’s all they have to offer right now
True, but it's also more so about Freo not giving much ground on the Lachie Neale deal. Who knows, it might work for them - but it does make the Hogan/May deals tough.

Try going into a Range Rover dealership and offering them $141.36 for a new Sport, 'cause that's all you have to offer right now.

Why no make a offer? Who knows Melbourne might have gone back with something less then 2 1st rounders? Melbourne are the ones that need the trade to get May it doesn’t bother freo if it doesn’t happen till 8.25 Wednesday night
They don't need May that badly - Hogan up forward can mean McDonald goes back, and Lever will return.

Not really. They could offer their 2019 1st and ask for Melbourne's 2019 4th to replace the pick they traded to Port. That should pass muster under the O'Meara precedent.

So we take unders for a 2 x B&F and 1 time Runner up who is contracted and we don't want him to go.
Melbourne WANT to get rid of Hogan to get May so they should be getting unders

There's a difference between want to get rid of Hogan and want to get the right deal for Hogan. Just because we are transparent with our demands doesn't mean we don't want him.

Or they could just laugh at you for being a bit of a knob, it’s all on freo dees don’t have to sell

Hogan was only ever going to get done for 5 or 6 and something else. Now we've given away 6 it has to be 5 because thats all the GC will accept for May.

Neale will only get traded if it gets us 5 and lobb or 5 and a future first. If brisbane can't do 5 and lobb then trading out 6 has got us the peices to get the lobb deal done, keep neale and take pick 11 to the draft

I think they are genuine in saying they would rather keep neale than get hogan. If they can get the majority of hogan and lobb for him that's probably a different story.

5 and pick 18ish is reasonable for Neale - he's one of the best clearance mids in the game, is durable, in his prime, squeaky clean and a leader. Brisbane are the ones holding up the deals

Melbourne probably end up with May, KK , early 2nd (and maybe some later picks) for hogan . Which is about right for hogan with injury question marks and a desire to go home

Then don’t make the offer if you can’t afford the product, but if you do expect to get laughed at for being a bit of a knob

Maybe. Just Maybe.

Hogan has asked Melbourne that 1) He'd like to be traded to Freo and 2) If that can't happen this year he's happy to see out his contract.
