Bombers need get Jobe back in the 2's and learn how too play footy or delist him at seasons end.....

i've been watching him close for the past month and turns over ball alot and 80% efficency wat when you handball all day you should really have 90 to 100% efficency. were too easy on him now its time too face it Jobe Watson would of been a great player early 90's till early 2000 no the game has change and his game type does suit the why the game's played 2day... so is that hard to face bomber fans......

i'm the idiot maybe should think before u post d ickhead.
ok so we need a in and under player wat about turnovers and unaccountable footy if u read and watch the friday game thats were we lost it even knights said that were all footy brain's aren't we. we need a midfield that both in and under know how too RUN, know how KICK and know how to be ACCOUNTABLE.

So why didn't you place Stantons head on the chopping block? Played a lot worse then Watson.

Simple fact is if we get rid of Watson we get smashed even more. He is the only one that actually gets his hands on the pill at the centre bounce.
 
I didn't see enough of Fridays game... But how did Laycock go? He was atrocious against us the week before (and has been everytime I watch you guys). If he plays like that most weeks I'd be wanting his head!

Scott West seems to go ok in the same sort of role watson plays.

A lot of Essendon fans are way to harsh on the bloke. Considering the rest of your midfield are receivers you would expect Jobe to be of a high value to your team.

i am pretty sure he got 30 touchs on anzac and 28 the weeks before and when he did kick it he hit the target more than he missed in both of those games and mick malthouse gave him more votes then pendlbury
 
I think you are being harsh on him.

I really think that stanton is overrated and letting you guys down. How on earth could he get James Hirds number????

I'm just happy that you guys are struggling and I can't see it improving for a while yet. Then when it starts improving, Lloyd, Lucas and Flether will retire and you will continue to struggle. Love it
 
With McVeigh's absence the 2 main men in the middle are Stanton and Watson and Stanton doesn't win enough Contested Possessions therefore its all put down on Watson. So there is probably a lot of pressure and I think he's playing like a champion.
I like Stanton but when the Midfield is performing, he plays well cause he can get the ball, but when it's all down to him he struggles.
I Just don't think he's that sort of player that can get the ball out on the bottom of a pack.
 
if your saying this after the friday game then you obviously dont watch much footy, he was essendons best player on the day...
Mick Malthouse put him in the top 3 players on the ground, above scott pendelbury..

shows how good he is and his impact on the friday night game.. only people who never played footy themselves or dont know anything about footy would say he is useless. yes he has areas that need some improving but to say he will be delisted is just stupid and shows your lack of knowledge
