Plus he'll play round 1 for them. He'd be depth for us.He chose $ Jen. And can’t blame him
and better chance playing more AFL at PortHe chose $ Jen. And can’t blame him
He'll play a lot for port. Was behind too many here, but will get a lot more opportunities over there.Plus he'll play round 1 for them. He'd be depth for us.
But with a fit list, he may not get the opportunities he is after. He'd want to be best 22 more often, which more likely he'll get at port.Had opportunities at the pies

Harsh. Even with those opportunities the fact remains that with a fully fit forward line he would be depth with us, at least in the short term. You can’t blame him for opting to take the offer that will give him the best shot at maximising his career. He’ll play round 1 for Port but would be behind Bobby, Beau, Jamie and Schultz at the pies. HH too had he not done his ACL.Had opportunities at the pies

At his late age of entering the competition he’s decided he wants to play every game he can but also in a good side. He’s probably chosen wisely for his own development.Had opportunities at the pies

Him wanting to go to Port was also part of the jigsaw that saw us get Houston. At his late age of entering the competition he’s decided he wants to play every game he can but also in a good side. He’s probably chosen wisely for his own development.
It’s funny how some people have turned on him now because a year ago many thought he was a dud anyway
It’s pretty obvious Collingwood was happy to let him leave given it was apparent from an early stage that he could be a puzzle piece in landing Houston. Similarly with Noble. Given we knew the Suns needed points. He didn't leave for a tiny bit more coin or slightly more opportunity in best 22, the world was his oyster if he wanted to stay with us.
There was clearly some other reason and I'm not implying anything untoward.
But you guys do you.

What are you on about? He's a professional footballer. Professionals move for more money or opportunity every single day.He didn't leave for a tiny bit more coin or slightly more opportunity in best 22, the world was his oyster if he wanted to stay with us.

Maybe that's why Ken wanted him? Take the heat offHe better do well or port fans will bat for his head
He would have been more likely to achieve that if he stayed at Norwood. He would have been a SANFL legend. He kicked about 80 goals in the Sanfl the year before he joined us.The world his oyster? Nobody mentions Stephen Patterson much these days. Yeah he’s a state MP in SA, but I reckon he could have achieved that even if he only ever played for Norwood.
They've got Rory Atkins.Maybe that's why Ken wanted him? Take the heat off
I think he'll go well. The issue might be that he took a fair while to settle and play confidently at Collingwood. If that happens again, Port fans will shred him, considering the circumstances of his arrival.I was a bit of a Joe fan this year, showed a heap of talent early before injury. I think he surprised everyone a little, except maybe Decks and Riedy......His decision making and skills forward of centre is his biggest asset, that ability similar to Bobby to change direction and hit a inside fifty target. Good luck to him!

Jack Watts survived Port. He'll be fineI think he'll go well. The issue might be that he took a fair while to settle and play confidently at Collingwood. If that happens again, Port fans will shred him, considering the circumstances of his arrival.
