Ummmm, everyone did today, even Newman and Deledio, and they are probably our best kicks.F*#k the stats - he kicks it to the opposition!
Jordan McMahon as a defender is just not working at Richmond with our current line-up. At the dogs he had much better players around him that took more of the defensive load. He does not enjoy that same support at the RFC.
If Casserly wasn't injured all the time we may have been able to release McMahon on the wing, but until then he is what he is.
nah! the best thing we did as doggies supporter was trading macmahon !
Soft ____ if you ask me !

Couldnt agree more mate, weak as piss and a waste of a draft pick if you ask me!

Shouldn't burn one of your own,has talent and can be attacking just need's support around him, when the team play's better so will he.
Only on here to see to-day's reponse.
Thanks for taking him guys. And to think we got pick 19 for him
Callan Ward looks very very promising as a ball winning midfielder

He's been very good all year, but today he kicked a couple of shockers to the opposition
McMahon really shouldn't be played in defense, he's always struggled, and if you have a couple of other loose defenders it makes it worse. McMahon cost us a fair bit this way, mainly in '07 when even Lappin booted 5 on him. He's not a defender - I don't understand why Eade & now Wallace play him there. He SHOULD play off a wing, because he's a good runner & is good at being a link-up man. His foot skills used to be better but they're still good and he's quick. He played some of his better games for us on the wing, and at times in the middle.
His game in '05 against Adelaide was one from memory, where he was pretty effective off a wing and even did OK in the middle. I thought Wallace would have realised this when trading for him, it's a bit odd to me. He lacks accountability & strength, it's deadly playing him down back.
I haven't watched too many Tigers games, but what's your thoughts on the above and has he played through the midfield at all?
Are you happy with trading Pick 19?
Will be interesting to note the progress of this trade over the next 3 years.
Was reading this thread thinking... why are we playing him down back? Why not on a wing?
He could torch the wide open spaces of the bigger grounds (MCG) from the middle.
Is not very accountable nor strong and his natural instinct is to attack and create.
Worth pick 19? ATM probably not but as you say, lets see after a couple of years.
How old is he? 24/25? In a couple of years, if anything, he will just get slower. All 24/25 year olds should have proven themselves by this age
