I don't think he's "worth" that much in a vacuum (and the idea of us still offering that much after being turned down so many times kinda rankles), but with the added context of those two points it makes sense. 0 trade cost and frontload the shit out of it so that it's not a burden when we have to be handing out new contracts to our own players.
