Gary Ablett averages more possessions, but Judd averages more clearances, inside50s, assists, contested possessions, and just about every other stat you care to mention.

Gary Handball Jr will still get the plaudits because of who his father is, and will continue to rack up 10 kick/30 handball games, but Judd is the better footballer for mine.

So what? Judd averages more clearances. Players like Daniel Harris, Sam Mitchell and Jobe Watson are clearance players. Why play the creme de la creme at the bottom of a pack when you can have them tearing through the middle setting up play and kicking goals?
