The last few GFs have been bad because of the blazing sun. Bloody Melbourne weather.
Which is common for Spring in Melbourne. If you think aesthetics of the game is important (re: jumper clashes) then the clash of a red ball against the red crowd in sunshine should make any aesthetically minded person to want to the game at night.

Night is better aesthetically. It just is. Everyone knows it. Yellow is the most receptive colour to the eye. The yellow ball looks magnificent on TV.

Aesthetically minded people also like games with fewer fumbles, dropped marks and players falling over.

Well everything is a compromise. You can put up with a day GF while still being frustrated at the absolute stupidity of jumper clashes, when clash kits have been around for more than 20 years now.

But would love a Red V on White as their home, and a White V on Red as their away. But that's more South Melbourne then Sydney.
