I hope I'm around to see the day port go traditional black and white bars...
Eddie will go off his tree, never has understood that no one club owns colours.

Yeah, that's true but why? Why would you want two teams to have the exact same colours? Collingwood and Port's brand would suffer as a result.no one club owns colours.
Because Eddie seems to think collingwood own black and white, when port have just as much claim to their own heritage. Carlton and Geelong have similar colours, design makes the difference to me more than colour. Ports brand would skyrocket if they got approval to wear the prison bars, even a few times a year I reckon...Yeah, that's true but why? Why would you want two teams to have the exact same colours? I don't buy that. Our brand would be stronger if we had our traditional Prison Bars jumper at AFL & SANFL level.Yeah, that's true but why? Why would you want two teams to have the exact same colours? Collingwood and Port's brand would suffer as a result.
I don't think having two teams with the same colours but different name would separate their identities. This is probably getting a bit off topic now so let's just leave at a disagreement in opinion.I don't buy that. Collingwood would be still called the Magpies and are the same club based in Victoria, nothing changes there.
Remember there is a clash jumper (teal) that we can easily wear. Liverpool, Man United and Arsenal all wear red and have strong brands.
Collingwood always was black stripes on a white guernsey which is different to the prison bars. Eddie changed the guernsey to white on black

Yeah. Carlton and Geelong have really gone to crap having the same colours. Wait...I don't think having two teams with the same colours but different name would separate their identities. This is probably getting a bit off topic now so let's just leave at a disagreement in opinion.
Not bad, just make the ribbon maroon and that would be mint. Probably fix up the o in Lions also.I know that this isn't a Jumper But I would like you thoughts on this.

(as an aside, a minor error - it's "Like Fitzroy & Bears of old")
Im thinking of doing jumpers as well.
Just the logo by itself without the ribbon is great
mint
Freight Train what about a Fremantle 3D anchor guernsey
Now that I think about it, that middle stripe might actually make a better sash..
This looks good, but what about a two-tone purple and white? It'd be realistic but it could actually be a cleaner, stronger look.

This'd be a great throwback anyway. Would sell ludicrously well.
If you turned that into a clash, white base, got rid of the stripes in the middle and made the anchor a a purple gradient fading into white it would look sick. Would be and interesting sash design.
