Some of those early Freo proposals were actually quite cool despite a couple resembling jockey silks. The two coloured number jumper would have been absolute all time in here as well.

I quite like the V designs there. The Anchor is much maligned and not even ugly but the V surely would have stood more of a chance if the Brisbane Bears hadn't of recently brought out something similar.

I can't remember Geelong ever having an active part, they may well have been. I'm no Panacea of all things Roy, I defer to Roylion in that dept.

However I have strong memories of Richmond (along with Carlton & Collingwood) being not only at the forefront of stopping the merger, but also squashing what life they could out of Fitzroy in the years leading up to that point.

As evident in Daphne's "I don't think so" response to the "Would you be bothered if denying the merger with North, would mean the death of Fitzroy?" question.

Notice how the top white vee is rounded, this was an actual playing guernsey.

14 of the 15 clubs voted against the North-Fitzroy Merger, the only one to vote for it was North.

The clubs weren't against the merger (Although I think a lot of AFL pressure was on them to get the Brisbane one over the line) but the concessions they wanted as a premiership contender would have guaranteed them 4 in a row.

The ninety's gimmicky shit was the best thing about this presentation. Also, how ironic that the team that now uses an INXS song as their pre-game hype up, was launched with an INXS song?

It's either a diagonal or a straight line

Take note the Port Magpies back on the home and the all black back on the away
