Sumich did say that he thought he could get us close to finals in 2020... but he added a clause...depending on the trade period.

Kinda irks me that a potential coach candidate is talking trades on radio tbh. Not exactly professional imo.
Will never get my head around supporting a coach that freely says his heart is blue ‘n gold.

After reading your post, I'm not sure about Sumich. Yes I like him to be Fremantle coach before your post , I normally go for a coach stereo type don't want, but now you kind of like the idea, I think Bell won't select him.

Agree - the fool is auto disqualifying himself by revealing things Freo has said it won’t talk about until an appointment is made. Quite apart from the fact that he’s talking to dead beats who are known Freo critics.
A big part of the Sumich package is that he can get us onside with the media, especially the ones who are actively campaigning for him. Nauseating really.
It’s been made public by not just the media but the players themselves they want out. Brad hill himself said he wants to go to saints. How is all this hush hush to a potential senior coach. If it’s been made public .There is no reason not to talk about it. Freo have even stated they want saints top pick for hill and sumich was Elaborating on that. for the eagles. Fremantle has had plenty of west coast players play for the club even (

If he does get freo into the finals next year and even win one if he is indeed senior coach are we still going to hear people whining ? Lol

I'd imagine at the Worst and Sunday Slimes he'd henceforth be known as "Eagles Legend and Dockers Coach Peter Sumich".
Bogut doing the money sign and then screaming about FIBA being corrupt is pathetic when they outplayed their opponent if not for some silly errors late. The refs didn't cost the Boomers the game and they know it.

The others are just a gamble, and I would be looking to get as many professionals in the box possible.

It starts at Peel and emulates through the club, how, what Freo stand for, style of footy. It's not like we don't

and would have got us pushing for contention next year, not maybe making finals like suma...the club cannot afford another few years rebuilding - the list they have is ready to pop over next few years before walters and fyfye drop off...

At the end of the day no matter who we get has played for another team at some stage the only bloke who hasn't JLO so people saying suma ex eagle don't want you still got Don Pike ex eagle Woosh ex eagle captain and coach Solomon ex bombers yes and dockers so who ever it is apart from JLO they come from another team I'd like to have Suma head coach Don Pike he head assistant they great mates Don with have good advice be good combo but that just my opinion or JLO head coach Don Pike senior assistant

Didn’t Sumich walk away from the Dockers last time after they shuffled him to be Development coach?
If he can stomach the “demotion” again, then I’d cope with him being Peel/ Freo development coach.
Would love to have someone experienced to back up a young gun coach. Pyke would be good, if he was happy taking the role.
