Don't know how the Bombers "succession plan" will play out, imagine if Bombers made top 4 next year and won a couple of finals or lost a prelim or GF, they are then going to turn it over to someone who has never been a senior coach? What happens if say Worsfold was gung ho to get Brad Hill for next year but he now has to get Rutten to approve it?

I was reading somewhere that it was an agreement when Worsfold re-signed that Essendon knew that he would be coming back to Perth when this contract was over. Worsfold doesn't want to stay longer, he just wants to help with the transition.

So that means he won't have Lloyd and co criticising him for every loss they have next year

Also does the agreement work both ways, i.e. he has agreed to help them with a smooth transition next year so Rutten takes over in 2020 but if they were to start 2-5 he is not going to get sacked early??

The Sumich hate seems childish to me. Sumich often sounds pro-Freo. He criticised the Eagles before when Masten said he would root against us in the GF. Fair enough if people have evidence and reasons why they don't rate him as a coach, but to dismiss him based on his fallout with Lyon is silly.

Dad said hes on the shortlist then i laughed and said don't be ridiculous. Dad insisted he was right and wouldn't reveal his source, because of that i think the information may be suspect. He said its unconnected to the property thing everyone was nattering on about.
