Don pyke .That's all well and good. There's nil proven coaches though.
Clarkson was the last. The ones that got sacked last year were terrible.

If we finish bottom 4…do we call it?We are such a boring team. Listening to JLo stumble and mumble through a press conference is worrying.
If we finish bottom 4 I feel like he could be sacked with 1 year to go.
We have done it before.
No current season stats available
Ross survived 0-10. Jl has the players. Needs to go reckless and change the planIt’s eminently possible we will be Owen 5 by the dogs game in R6. I have no faith in this team to beat anything right now.
Does JL survive a 0-5 start?
Jlo looked very down and out during that last press conference after that game. Doesn't exactly exude confidence to players and supporters.
He doesn't really come across as a go-getter like say McRae at Collingwood, although Jlo's best year was last year returning 16 wins,7 losses 1 draw ,very similar to McRae who had 17 wins and 8 losses. McRae only became a senior coach last year and is 49 years of age and Jlo is only 42, so hopefully is learning himself and improving, the thing is he would not want to lose the confidence of the players, by lacking confidence himself.
Who else is there ? ,the only one maybe Josh Carr but he is untried and seems destined to maybe takeover at Port.
100%. Let the players run n carry, back them in. Me might lose by 30 but could win by 50.Ross survived 0-10. Jl has the players. Needs to go reckless and change the plan
Completely different circumstances - RL had serious credits in the bank compared to JL.Ross survived 0-10. Jl has the players. Needs to go reckless and change the plan
They aren't sacking him if he goes 0-5 guys. Highly unlikely they're sacking him at all this year in-season but if they do get ruthless it will be the same as Ross, when we're a mathematical impossibility of making finals
'Jl is capable of firing a rocket and changing the team mid game. This season he's definitely scared or shocked to make a move.'But that's not the style he played last season. He's just probably passive this season and trying to get the club into the top 4 and keeping it all together. Jl is capable of firing a rocket and changing the team mid game. This season he's definitely scared or shocked to make a move. Now at 0-2 he ll have nothing to lose.
Buckley would be a good choice as second time round would be improved like Voss WE need an experienced coach who would have the respect of the playersIf we finish bottom 4…do we call it?
Don Pyle? Dean Cox? Veteran Choco Williams for a harder edge? Bit out there.

I agree with this statement and share your sentiments.Since Collingwood beat us at Optus last year what has Longmuir done different? He's brute forcing this far figured out game plan (That is now getting beaten by an undermanned St Kilda and North Melbourne). He's brought in Hughes, Banfield, Wilson and other spuds time after time despite them failing continuously. Our defence has gone backwards, our midfield has gone backwards and after 3 years he still hasn't a clue what to do with a forward line. St Kilda's cobbled together forward line last week was better than our forward line has EVER been.
He's stubborn, uncreative and generally just a little s**t. It's been years now since he said our goal kicking would fix itself yet we still consistently kick behinds MORE than goals.
* him off and get someone with a better vision for the future
