Jeez, you've really taken it on yourself to spearhead the Longmuir out movement. Maybe this thread can wait until his position is actually under threat i.e. more than 2 rounds into the season.

As an aside, I'd genuinely prefer we give Cuddles another go over some of the names being floated here.

Experienced heads is what’s missing, JLo can talk to Bell, who has such high
coaching credentials.
Ross Lyon spoke to the American head of coaching, it’s a cruel joke.
We need to get the next Messiah player, not. Our best coach was poached
and was an aggressive move. Instead of going harder at talent we got
Cockburn.

Personally, I’d like to see Peter Bell become a player coach, manage the football department and replace Garlick. If that’s too much for the great man, I’d let him hand over the weekly medical reports to someone else at the club, maybe, the head of the medical team???

Can’t see any good ex coaches on the market at the moment, so it’d have to be an untried coach if we went down that route. And I doubt we’d go from an untried coach in JL to another 4 years later. I think the best option right now is to stick fat and hope he learns real fast. Deep down I think a lot of us know he’s not the guy though.

Jlo had a whole pre season to tinker and didn’t. Teams know we are a slow ball movement team, McRae found us out.

Now we have to adjust after just 2 games. He is also very timid to make the obvious changes to make the team more potent across the ground.

Unless there is a clear upgrade waiting in the wings (and there isn't) there isn't much sense in sacking a coach, especially this early in the season. All we can do is persevere with JL for now.
