I think it was more we all recognised Trump was obviously much worse and a bigger threat to democracy, I don’t think anyone thought Kamala was the GOAT.

Yep… this is a triumph of deception and showmanship, like so many political campaigns, and now reality will take over. The reality was dire last time around with trump, so you’d have to be an extreme optimist to think it will be better this time.

We weren't wrong about Kamala being a better choice, she was, although some of your post doesn't apply to me in terms of reasons.
