Always been a KFC man. Globally loved KFC in Japan & Thailand, found it to be rubbish in America.

The longer I live away from Australia the longer I crave and miss Red Rooster

KFC is on a whole different level compared to Red Rooster. We're talking about the Colonel’s secret recipe, the iconic 11 herbs and spices that hit you with flavor from the first bite to the last.

Red Rooster might try to play the "we're fresher" card, but let’s be real—nobody is beating KFC when it comes to that crispy, juicy, downright addictive fried chicken. It’s got the crunch, it’s got the seasoning, and it’s got the taste that keeps you coming back. Red Rooster’s roast chicken? Please. It’s good, but it’s basic. KFC is where flavor lives, and that’s the bottom line

KFC is downright horrific. The only thing that's "next level" about it is the bowel movement after eating the greasy, overcooked crap that you put down your intestine.

When KFC is good, it's the best fast food there is and it's not close.

The problem is, it's rarely good. I've never had bad red rooster, it's always just ok, and being ok all the time is better than being good rarely.

My local KFC has mostly been too greasy, crap bits of chicken, and cold/soggy/basically just batter chips. Also really poorly put together burgers.

Been a real let down anytime I've had KFC in the last 12 odd months.

As others have said, RR is rarely amazing, but it's also rarely terrible. It's a bit more reliable across the board.

KFC and Crispy don't go together unless you're talking wicked wings.

Red Rooster's fried chicken is far crispier and crunchier, less salty and far less greasy.

Their hot honey fried chicken is the best and tastiest option across both franchises.

Is Chicken Treat still around?
Anyway, KFC slightly over Red Rooster, despite no coke zero & only that dire pepsi max,
But
Nandos smashes them all.
Combined basting of hot & BBQ, extra basting with garlic pitta.
I only eat chips on Friday, so peri peri chips on those days
I'm hungry now
