Hey Knightmare, thoughts on Haileybury’s Heath Briggs?
Hey Knightmare any nibbles by AFL clubs on Adam Sambono?
Thought he was stiff last year and had another season for the NT thunder. Could be anything.
Knightmare ... as the rucks in the u18's are a bit thin ... do you rate the state league guys as a better way to go ... wafl guys ... like
Jeremy Goddard , Cameron Loersch , Aaron Redhead and perhaps sanfl Darcy Fort ... or perhaps someone you rate as a better choice in the VFL
Buckleys chance of getting Crossley out of GC. Played a fair amount of games this year already as a KPF and Ruck. Has a younger brother who is tracking well in their academy, and probably gets drafted next year.Showed signs for Haileybury and was productive for APS v AGSE. An able ball winner.
Probably needs to have some good games for Dandenong this finals series to get picked.
He's lively and can have some good games - hits the scoreboard, has the pace and brings the pressure. He's a possible role player.
I was hearing more noise about him going last year, haven't heard much this year.
But if a club is looking for someone who can play that role, Sambono is one as a rookie to consider.
Darcy Fort is probably that most suitable mature ager for selection and could provide adequate depth.
The one ruckman I like this year is Kieran Briggs (GWS Academy) overager. He's just on the edge of my top 20 power rankings. Otherwise, there isn't a second I have inside my top 50.
I think the value is on other club lists with those outside best 22 types. Brayden Crossley, Tom Nicholls and Darcy Cameron are all good enough to slot into a best 22 and would be players I ask about during the trade period first with an attitude towards needing to draft a ruckman a last resort.

Hi Knightmare
Do you see a team making a bid on Tarryn Thomas forcing Kangaroos to use there first pick (likely pick 9) or has he slipped down for the Roos to use a later pick?
Thanks
He is a great fit for Freo and adds to our Tassie brigade. There is a good chance this will occur.
Hey km, just wondering if you would know when the teams for the future stars 17s and 18s games are going to be announced?

Hi Knightmare
Do you think Carlton could take Bailey Smith with pick 1. Is he worth it, or would you say pick 2-5.
All the news about him tells me that he's going to be a fantastic player, he seems big enough to translate into the AFL, has a good burst of speed and is damaging at half forward. So is he in discussions for pick 1?
Knightmare
Thoughts on Jason Carter? I reckon he has crazy upside but his year has been shithouse.
Where do you reckon he will go?
Draftable and one who Fremantle should take late/rookie as one who is potentially developable.
He has pace, but I can't say I've found myself all that excited by his performances.
Oh, and if you don't mind, Ethan Hansen? From what I've seen: Great kick, even better decision maker and clean hands, albeit with an uncontested style.
Your thoughts?
Hi Km, Doggies look like they have a pick outside the so called big 6 (after GC get Lynch compo) so other than
these top 6 who are the best best players that would suit the dogs?
Smith if he makes it. Rankine if he drops.
More realistically Hately would be a good get as a mid. Has the performances on the board at SANFL League level. Plays inside and outside well.
Not sure if Sydney matching actually promotes your first couple of picks. Sydney's first pick shuffles up the board. Your first pick moves back one spot, and your second pick stays where it is.I like the damaging O'Halloran at our pick. Leader from a young age and a big dogs fan.
With West coming on board and Dunkley going well inside, Hately although great, might not be as big a need as an attacking weapon like Rozee & O'Halloran. Rozee being the other obvious choice.
A bid for Blakey is almost a certainty. Would be a huge get if bid isn't matched. Takes out other draft picks and promotes the dogs picks they will need for West.

Probably reaching a bit for O'Halloran that high. I'm deciding still whether he's someone I'd look at more in the teens or 20s, rather than top 10. He just doesn't find enough of it, often enough.
Rozee maybe around that point.
A bid on Blakey is worthwhile there, and he will get matched certainly anywhere after pick 3 I would have thought.
