KM, whats your thoughts on carlton taking sam ramsay at pick 47? again its disheartening you didnt even have him ranked anywhere in your power rankings so do you think it's a waste of a pick?

Reminds me a bit of Aaron Fiora. I think he'll get picked up, I just think he'll slide a bit. Just my opinion. I'm gonna guess 50-60. Pretty limited spots for slightly built lead ups at 185cm, normally they're a bit taller 190ish, Lynch (crows), Gunston.
50. Not a bad get at 50. I can see him a bit on a HBF and the wing as well as HFF. Gone to a good club, great fit for Cam imo, hopefully he can stay injury free. Good luck lad.

hi knightmare, was just wondering about our left field choice just then in lachlan gallot. what do you know about him? is he any good?

Betting you wouldn't have passed on Biggy at 55.
He's a bit raw but so much potential, thought he'd go a touch higher tbh. A touch undersized for a genuine ruck but given time could be a great tall utility. I think give him an apprenticeship at CHF in the 2's and then try him as a KPD.

Earlier than I'd take him. A productive mid who averaged 25d in NAB League but lacks the impact of a lot of the mids taken before him.

Absolutely would have matched in the Saints position. Would have meant netting two guys I rate inside my top 25 with picks outside 50. Would have been an unbelievable return!

A raw, tall outside midfielder at 191cm who in a small sample of games for Calder doesn't find a lot of the footy averaging 12d per game. A project player.

Few surprises with a couple of boys falling. Mitch o’neill 👀

Always is. O'Neill a chance again today.

Hey KM,
Wondering if you think Jai Jackson will be picked up tommorow morning?

A chance. Richmond liked him and may have had him shortlisted for one of their national draft selections.

Hey Knightmare, could you elaborate on Schoenberg’s athleticism?

Schoenberg is a mid who is quick in game as one of those mids capable of winning first possession on the move - and because he's on the move already it allows him to burst out of stoppages. He's a really high motor guy who is seemingly always on the move. Has good agility also.

How do you like Matt McGuinness as a cat B, KM?

McGuinness can intercept, has a long kick and can generate drive from defence.

Interesting to hear that Philp is considered a "reach" at 20 when you had him rated at 24. Would that be a "minor reach".

In my own power rankings I personally rate Philp at 57. So he was always going to be someone I wouldn't have touched inside the first two rounds.

In my phantom draft the difference in scenario is the availability of other midfielders. Having Robertson, Maginness and Rivers still there I'm surprised Philp was considered ahead of let alone taken ahead of any of those guys. It's not a possibility I had accounted for in my phantom draft.

187 cm inside midfielders who are the fastest player tested at the draft, top 10 vertical leap, top 10 yo-yo test are a dime a dozen.

Collingwood get an A for drafting a few guys who will be battlers at best

My grades are based on value represented at their respective selections.

Collingwood are one of a few clubs to take players in ranges where I considered them suitable for selection. Two of those I rated higher than where Collingwood picked them. Something only Gold Coast, Collingwood and Adelaide managed in this draft.

I'm going to go out on a leg here and say that we won't know who drafted the best until 3 years have passed.

Probably right bruh.
