Brodie Smith's 50 was a lot better than what I first thought when he was named as a sub, and then his score at half time. Thanks Brodie, basically broke even with the emergency Duigan.

Boak was nowhere to be seen on TV except for a few hard ball gets and a classy goal, so satisfied with the 76. I look forward to weeks where he actually tears it apart.

Kudos also to Jimmy Bartel, Pendles, Gibbs, Swan, Sandi etc. But I expect that every week from you guys anyway.

Why did I ever doubt you over the preseason? Luckily I caved and brought you in.

Fyfe and his constant ball winning efforts...####ing gem of a player.

Wasn't actually that constant (very quiet in the second and third). He picked up 74 of his 95 points in the 1st and 4th quarters.




But his effort in the last quarter when the game was on the line was phenomenal. Not sure how he'll go from a DT perspective over the season but he is a very talented young player. I reckon he'll have a few rippers coupled with some quiet games (<60). Give him a couple of years and he'll be a premium.

He's a gun, isn't he? I did the same - had Jolly for the majority of the preseason but in the bit the bullet, downgrading Boyd to Andy Swallow, allowing me to bring in the giant.
