That was from the named squad with emergencies
Not sure how soon I'll be able to update, I just discovered the most innocuous possible way of dislocating my kneecap, for a bit of fun
🤣

It's certainly broken my morning up

I can now fully appreciate him wanting to get it back in in a way that I couldn't before, it is absolutely horrific having it out.

Took like 3hrs from the injury, the wait for the ambulance, and then just popped back in while we were workshopping how to transfer me into a hospital bed.

And now it feels fine.

Anyone know what the rule changes are this year? I've seen a couple of headlines about how they have changed some rules to free the game to a bit, but didn't particularly want to listen to Nicole Livingston 🤷‍♂️
Quarters will run for about two minutes longer after being extended to 15 minutes (plus time on for goals or major injuries) before the existing final two minutes plus full time on.
The lengthened duration of play has led to time being shaved off the breaks, with quarter time and three-quarter time reduced by 30 seconds and halftime cut back from 16 minutes to 14 minutes.

The competition will introduce its first interchange cap, with teams restricted to 60 rotations, while boundary umpires will now throw the ball in from 10m inside the boundary line when the ball goes out of play between the 50m arcs.

The “last touch out of bounds” rule will remain in the middle section of the ground, with runners now restricted to only three trips onto the ground per quarter for 90 seconds at a time until the final three minutes of each term.

I guess now that my kneecap is no longer in an unusually creative position you can have a version with final teams

Thanks Jivlain. The height difference is quite stark - only a couple of cm on average, but Tigers consistently taller across the two sides. I noticed against the Crows a few weeks ago we were giving away a lot of height as well. I wonder if it will be a consistent theme.

A lot of AFLW games are played with the ball on the ground so it's not necessarily a major disadvantage, but against the more skilled teams it could be a problem. We will need to be emphasizing speed and winning the ball in contested situations.

Remember that guy Buckley wishing that bates and Bodey have the same success in premierships that Buckley did. That is none

Pretty sure bates left as well because she did not get along with Zielke after they broke up as a couple.
