Yeah Duncan didn’t have a very good year and didn’t impact at all. That was the one selection I thought the selectors got wrong. Would have dropped Duncan and left in Tuohy as sub.

Neale tried hard .
Also marked afew in the last .
Even with Andrews arm chops .
He's better for the experience. There are players with his number of games, who've played AFL all of their lives, who aren't as good as he is.
He'll keep building.
Dangerfield?
For the perfect tackle?
Would have had a goal from straight in front as well if Stengle hadn't lost his mind and gone for a mark he wasn't getting.I thought Neale was good, all things considered but in particular his experience.
Brought it to ground far more often than not, used the ball really well at times and didn't stuff up anything from what I remember, against one of the very best key backs in the comp.
Has cemented his spot in the 18 no doubt in my mind, his 2 finals were very very promising.
For the perfect tackle?
Yeah, I saw him "play". You can't carry players who don't have ability. It always gets shown up. Mullin gets games on his athletic capacity, not his ability to influence the contest. That is unacceptable.
Brisbane didn't have a passenger tonight, we start with 1 everytime we play him.
I get wanting the club to find "another one" from no where, but Mullin isn't it.
I didn’t want him back then either. I feel the same about us getting Smith.I was right about Bruhn
The worst thing about the loss is some absolute classic goals will never be seen again
Guess it depends on the era. I would say Duncan is just about done, and with him and Hawkins going that leaves no one from the 2011 flag correct? That would be an end of an era in my mind.Well done lions. It basically all comes down to luck when it’s that close. They took their chances when luck fell their way. A couple of lucky bounces and ricochets ended up in goals in the last few minutes.
The cats were well off their normal game, probably because 1 game in 28 days doesn’t give the qualifying final winner any advantage. The pre final bye is a really stupid idea; the win loss stats are damning.
The cats had plenty of chances, especially at the start of the third. The umpiring started favouring the lions during that time and basically kept them in the game, then they started to play with confidence. The loss of Holmes didn’t help either.
The cats should hold their heads up high, it just wasn’t their night.
Some bright spark from the herald sun is saying the era is over. What a tool!
I'd see Mullin at half-back.Nope, he is a total liability. If he is in the midfield next year we are cooked.

Hawkins is the last of the 09 premiership players, and Hawkins and Duncan are the last of the 2011 no?
