“A small bodied exciting forward with great hands. Is lightning quick with great agility and a big leap. If he can be taught to capitalise on his big leap with overhead marking he will be a worry to match up on for small & tall opponents.”

Another foot solidier in the army of speed.

Sounds like he's been drafted to become our crumbing forward in the Aaron Davey mould, and take probably Aker's spot in 2-3 years. Can't wait to get down and see all these boys have a run around.

******** hes skinny aswell! i cant see him breaking into the doggie team for a while yet.

Think Michael Long, think Gavin Wanganeen, both really skinny blokes, but very sinewy which means that they are stil strong. If he turns out to be half the player these guys were then I will be very pleased

What is it with your fascination about draftees having to play senior AFL football the next year? Give the kids a bit of time to develop. Sometimes that takes years, and it can often be worth waiting for.

no but hes REALLY skinny, ill give him time to develop but he needs to work very hard over the coming pre seasons.

Obviously it's very hard to tell from merely a few reports and a few pictures, but he looks a very athletic type of player with speed?

Skinny, but at least he's not just bone. You can see he has some definition, which is something to work with.

Project player, but as said previously; often they are worth the wait.

Tambling put something like 5-7kgs on in his first pre season. We'll need a similar sort of gain with Lynch to even consider playing him early on in the year.

Sounds like a long term replacement for Robbins.

2.85 secs for 20m.

Wow.

If hes playing as a will-o-wisp forward pocket, I dont see why weight will be a huge issue for him. Whether he weights 70 kilos or 75, he is still going to be a fly weight.

from geelong cats messgae board, from his brother?

quotes from his bro:

"Very Proud of him ,
I came up to Darwin in 2001, got him off Bathurst Island (Tiwi Islands) and sent him to Sydney , he got a scholarship for Footy at Riverview and hasnt looked back..
He has realy grabbed the opportunity with both hands..

Didnt nominate for last years draft as he wanted to finish year 12, he was school captain.. I wont be changing teams though, I am a cats fan . "he is the enemy"

Another thing is the Western Bulldogs play up here a couple of times , so will be great for himself and people of the Top End.."

(nice T-shirt... 'deadly'? I hope so...)

"Yeah he has a bit of quickness about him , he will get quicker though as he hasnt done much athletic/running training.

I was a bit suprised that the Cats didn't go for him with a late pick, especially seeing they showed interest in him, MAYBE IF GARDINER WAS OFFLOADED .. but hey thats footy.. "
