Manchester United: Where to next?

Evans, Casemiro, Mount and Eriksen have 348 international caps between them. Mainoo is in the current England squad.
Evans and Eriksen are treacle and past their best, and Casemiro is not a CB. If United are still rolling around with that line-up, then they're in serious trouble.

250 sackings isn't going to put much towards the first team.

Sell Antony and Sancho and you'll probably save five times that.

Dortmund are lowballing them for Sancho. If they were to sell Sancho for say 30m (original price 73m - book value after 3 seasons 43.8m) - PSR hit of 13.8m and Antony for 35m (original price 86m - 51.6m book value after two seasons = PSR hit of 16m) they would run into PSR issues wouldn't they? 30m PSR hit isn't easily covered although it seems they'll probably get that for Greenwood.

You could of course say the wages saved by these two leaving covers a huge saving but that will be offset by new players to replace them although it is unlikely in Sancho's case that any new signing will get the 250-300k / week contract Sancho got.

The point being that sacking a quarter of your staff to provide money to your first team isn't actually going to provide a lot of money to the first team.

If Sancho isnt sold he'll be loaned and the cost savings, even if United cover half of his wages will be not too far off.
