Marvels Overwatch clone got announced today (after being leaked yesterday, image below). I really like the artstyle and trailer looks good. Can't wait to see what they deliver. Trailer only mentions Steam and Epic game store but hopefully that's just for the Closed Alpha and we'll see a full multiplat release.

No problem with that if they're kept purely cosmetic like the original overwatch. Hopefully there is no locked heroes behind a season pass or some other bullshit either.

Just want to say, they did nothing with Overwatch, just as Blizzard is Blizzard they suck with China, so Netease stepped in and got the license. These are the peeps that helped with Diablo Immortal as their only real western game that wasn't Chinese gatcha. Might also be aware of Astracraft, as that is Netease also.
 
Any early impressions? Had a busy weekend and wasn't able to find time for this.

I'm hearing its super fun but extremely grindy with the Battlepass. That stuff doesn't usually matter for me as I don't care about unlocking cosmetics.

If you have a group, it's fun, if you're solo, it's kind of meh, been there different skins?

I'd say enjoyable.

I started to get a big head after a few punisher games..

Then I ran into a couple of Wolverine and Iron Fist players and got smoked

I'm maining as Wolverine for now. I really hate his skin but there is no way in hell I am pay 21 bucks for the MCU skin.

As I've always ended up a healer in these types of games because nobody else wants to do it I am trying to avoid that like role the plague. Saying that I figured I have to learn at least one of each class so I have gone with Rocket for healing and Magneto for some tank. I'm trying to get the hang of Venom as I prefer that playstyle but it just hasn't clicked for me yet.
 
Game is fun as shit. Better with a group with comms of course. Glad some of my friend group have jumped onto it.

Enjoying my lil support shark boy so far, still learning lots of characters though

I’ve now tried and learnt how to play Punisher, Venom and Storm. Enjoy all 3. Punisher is by far the easiest to use.

30 more characters to learn 🤯
