Re: maston concern

1. masten
2. first year player
3. he had knee soreness throughout the week

hope that clears things up.

Re: maston concern

Yeah, I wasn't happy at the time when Masten was off for pracitcally the whole 3rd time. Being the player he is... he still got 18 touches.

Both Masten and Ebert cant and wont play every game for the rest of the season. They will be rotated through for a few rest games. First year players cant sustain a full season.

Agreed, if he's sore leave him out, but they may have played him off the bench to give Ebert some more game time (as Ebert has been playing low minutes over recent weeks)... We all know how well tht worked :D

Joel Selwood did. He hasnt missed a game yet.

Incorrect. Selwood played 21 from a possible 25 last year, which means he had four weeks off. He had a game off late in the year to prepare himself for the finals.

I'm more interested in Masten and Ebert having long, glorious careers, rather than pushing them to play every game this year for no apparent reason, with the possibility of major injury as a result.

His groins are fine

As someone said hes playing with bruising to his knee. Its nothing serious at all.

Pretty sure Selwood didnt debut till round 4 though.

If he needs a rest then do it. Other wise he is doing really well and deserves his spot. Getting 18 touches with little game time is fantastic.

Get the paper this morning and circle TOG pereentage of Houlihan, Masten, Ebert, Davis and Wilkes.

Quite a common theme.

i saw davis had about 50% game time

masten had about 60%

wilkes had about 95%

ebert had about 80 odd%

cant recall houli's % TOG.

not really common at all, some got lots of time and others didnt.
