There's a bit of a mental game for us to overcome after 2022 as well.

All year we got smashed from the second qtr onwards and there was zero fightback, but for most teams a 3 goal deficit is not the end of the world, you just wrestle your way back in as the game flows.

McKay not showing a lot of interest in punching.

Phillips hits Ford in the same pocket, not even close to scoring.

We now go into a 2min drill... to try and score in the last 2 minutes.

Stop missing right!!!

You don't want to be going for goal from that pocket, it is a harder shot on goal... not showing enough smarts to use the other side of the ground.
 
So from what I’m reading here, despite our bad play this quarter we’re still finding opportunities to score…failing at that too, but opportunities all the same

Correct Disco, even big Charlie has 1.2 to this stage of proceedings.

We're going ok and thought we fought back well in the last 10 minutes.

Footy does ebb and flow and we had periods in the first where we were on top. We just don't have the composure or speed around the ball to get quickly out of trouble, we resort to the Jack special.
