The Hawkins one was understandable given the goal umpire's angle - there was no way he could've seen such a small deflection. Milburn's, on the other hand, was the umpire plain and simple taking the game into his own hands. Pathetic.

For sure - the umpiring until then was very good; couple of 50/50s, but that's life.

But that decision was based on the Umpires ego and inferiority.

just saw the replay - not even aggressive, and there is no way that the field umpire could have heard what he said.

He didn't give a warning he wasn't close enough, just ran in and decided to ruin the game and if he heard what was said from where he was he would have to have bionic hearing.
