Nathan Foley said on Saturday on BigPond Sports Weekend that the media need to take some responsibility for poor reporting and failing to check the facts, he said:

"I think the media have got to take some responsibility in the way it has been reported. The media are there obviously to do their job but like I said they have got to be held accountable for what they say at times."

Foley is right aren't these guys professionals it's their job to report the facts and in case they got it horribly wrong so why aren't they held accountable??????

Thanks for that. Listening to guys ike Foley and Richo commenting on the situation, it's looking increasingly likely to me that the majority of what was reported last week was bullshit. Of course, there is probably a thread of truth somewhere in there and you can't expect all to be going smoothly given the situation Richmond are in, but rumours and half-truths have been reported as fact and a lot of the mud will stick to certain players and officials. It's a disgrace.

Do you think Robbo would do this sort of gutter journalism against his own club?

No ****ing way.

The journo's got it WAY wrong. Anyone who wrote poor stories should come out and apologise in full to Terry, and the players who were then used as scapegoats like Johnson.

hi all
just returned from Shanghai, and spoke to a nex player up here in the jungles of PNG, and he was in melb for the brissy game and he said that what we are seeing in the press is not what its like inside the club, it is actually worse.....we are in damage limitation, the sooner that terry wals or is pushed the better.

Otherwise bye bye cotch, lids and the folester

This is like the implosion circa 1983-84

Maybe, just maybe, Wallace and Wallace's results as a coach at the RFC, should be held accountable for the reports of Wallace's possible sacking.

del, maybe, just maybe, you might be right, our game plan changes like his underware, the players play as they are instructed by coach....etc......noone denies that the majority cant play so maybe just maybe wallaces results are his own doing.

think about that

Think about it...

Don't believe what you read/see/hear King mallee. There was no attempted sacking, the players never asked terry to leave.
Indeed there are problems at punt rd, but what the media reported was complete fiction....

hence richo looking like he was going to belt Hutchy tonight......
