Melbourne have 4 premiership defenders missing - Hibberd, Petty, Salem and Bowey. The preview below was must have done before Lever was named last night. May and Rivers played in the GF.
Harmes was named on the bench in the GF, he goes to HBF and also in is Tomlinson, Hunt and Jordan.
As Lloyd and Lyon said, if we do the standard bomb it to the Dixon non Dixons play, we are ****ed.
Our backline will have to pull their finger out because our midfield wont be stopping theirs, break even will be the best result for our mids. Their talls of Jackson/Gawn, McDonald, Weideman and Fritsch will be a handful for our undersized defence.
Our defence have to stop playing 15m in front of their opponents expecting to attack all the time.
Reckon its the first time I have seen us Lyon pick us in about 5 of these previews he has done on us since mid last year.
Our ball use has been poor. As the graphic they put up shows, we have won enough footy to win all 3 games, but rubbish ball use has destroyed us.
Our dumb, work harder not smarter policy.

Melbourne should win by 8 to 12 goals. They are a 2 or 3 goal a quarter better side than us.
But if they kick for goal like we normally do, and we actually convert properly, it might get close. But if it gets close enough to pinch it, I expect a couple of dumb brain fade acts to cost us.
Will be watching Ed Langdon and Petracca closely tonight. See if our genius puts any work in to stopping them.
