Funny thing, two out of three memberships have $30 voucher, whereas the other has $20.
Myself and eldest son we are both Silver members, yet he has $20 voucher.
Other son who has just restarted his membership received the $30
If he went Green he gets an extra $10

It looks like basically every club in the league get a cap, a scarf, something, we get a bumper sticker and a massive price rise.

Can we have physical cards this year. Remember the ticketmaster outage?

12yo received his Hawks membership today, including a physical membership card and lanyard , cap, Hawks shop voucher. No Jack Ginnivan car freshener. Our club is shit when it comes to 'memberships'.

I question your parenting in regards to football matters.

Expecting to exceed 70k members next year

All aboard!

Aside from plenty of those 70k not being based in Brisbane it would be great to have a stadium that big, but if we bottom out they’ll be playing in front of 25,000 with 45,000 spare seats. Like watching Norf at Marvel.
Or like watching Melbourne at the MCG. Which nobody ever seems too concerned about. Probably because it's actually a good stadium and it's still good whether it's full or not.

The lesson here is to make sure a quality stadium is built, with decent acoustics, not to limit its size.

Usually I would blame Mum. Outside of hearing of course.

My fault for changing to rock the last second, if I’d stuck with scissors he’d have been a Lion. But the way it panned out, if I’d won I’d have a not overly invested Lions member son and an invested Hawks member son, so yeah I’m comfortable enough 😂

60k capacity would be a good size for our membership as long as there are provisions in the build to increase capacity by 10k like the Perth model.
I have not been to Optis stadium so can't comment on viewing experience
Below taken from the Perth stadium Design, Build, Finance & Maintain Project Summary dated February 2015
Westadium won the bid.
4G will now have to include 5G. The specifications in 2014 must have been 3G Imagine if that happened

I thought i would check out the 11 game season members seats available. Did not bother with 3 game membership.
An exercise to see what tickets will eventually become available for the first sold out (but not really) game v Cats
Deluxe seating sold out
No surprises that most available seating was in the back 3-6 rows.
Surprisingly i found section 406 with some very good seats available. The first image taken from row HH
See images below with viewing and pricing on section 406

I may be wrong, but do they usually sell that section to opposition supporters? during the year.
It would be good if Lions members could takeover that section for the H & A season. Only around 360 seats
They need a brief media add to state good seating still available for season members and that should then sell out.

Might be time to rename this thread again.

Did anyone else get the email this morning about guest passes etc being available from this arvo?

I have jumped on and had a bit of a look around, and come across an interesting issue.

I'm trying to arrange a guest pass for the West Coast game. It turns out the seat next to my normal reserved seat is actually available for that game. So I select it:

But then, when I go to check out, I'm not allowed and get this message:

I understand the error - I've seen it on ticketing sites before.

What I'd like to do in this situation to avoid this conundrum, is be able to move my yellow reserved seat, just for the day, to one of those spare seats two rows behind. That whole row is pretty much empty for the Eagles game. But it appears my yellow reserved seat is set in stone, and I'm unable to move it.

Has anyone come across this situation before and if so, what have you done about it?

I rarely use my guest seat.
But it's nice for the club to give us a single seat only to then make it available to use only on another single seat or somewhere with 3 or more seats.
Maybe it will only work with 1,3,5,7,9 etc groups of seating

You could try testing the "Swap Seat" that i mentioned in another thread
https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/football-related-random-thread-part-2.1336128/page-130

If you can swap your seat to where there is say 5 or more seats vacant. Then get one next to that as long as it won't leave a single seat.
Don't know the process though, no one does yet, you will have to suss it out. It may create another problem?
I have no idea if it will work. But if there are quite a few seats vacant together close to yours, logic says that should work.
But we are talking about Ticketmaster here.

I was having issues with this yesterday trying to get a seat next to my friend. Best to just call the club and see what they can do.

Anyone know how to get a membership barcode to use on the Tiketek site for the Tigers v Lions game at MCG round 4? I went to buy tickets and there’s not many to buy. I’m not quite sure why given it’s a Saturday afternoon and likely to be a fairly easy Lions win. There is an option to enter a Lions membership barcode and maybe if I do it might unlock more seat choices?

Great to see a pre-game function organised for the Swans game to showcase the trophy for us NSW fans.

Would be good to know who’s speaking but! Give us a picture before you sell it.

Do you have the details? Place/time? I'm flying down on the Saturday morning for the game.

It was emailed out to me directly.

I’d suggest contacting the club via their email.

It’s $50 includes trophy on display, past players and a guard of honour which isn’t a bad deal.

Now I just need to convert a swans mate to come with me…
