Thinking of going down to Melbourne for the demons game in July
As a brisbane member can you go through the lions or is it pot luck through ticket tek
Where to sit with my fello lion’s supporters

Barstools being set up along the railings at the members bar this season is severely hurting the atmosphere there, it means much less people can fit in there and it's harder to get a view of the game. Used to get a good spot on the railing pretty easy as people come and go but now you get the same dozen people turning up when the gates open, parking on the stools and no one else gets a look in. They then hang their jackets on their seats and leave for 20 minutes at a time expecting us all to leave their seat free. This is not an allocated seating area nor is it like a pokie where you can press a reserved button and get up and leave. Been going to the member bar ever since it opened but not a huge fan anymore.

Seating allocation for GA is available on the mcg website roughly 24 hours prior to the game, but for the Hawks game a couple of weeks ago you could just scan your member barcode and sit with Lions fans anywhere on Level 1 from M29- M36 (except cheer squad area). There was some Level 3 options but if you want to be with the fans, around M33 is your best option.
-This is assuming Melb cheer squad is at the Punt Rd end which is normally the case.

Getting a ticket to the Pies vs Lions game at Marvel might melt down Ticketek like Taylor Swift!

How the hell do you access your membership barcode?
Do you mean ticket barcode.
I don't think you can access barcode or QR code until 72 hours before the game.
So try tomorrow.

Get it via the Lions mobile phone app.
Tap Lions App
Tap Game Day (at bottom of screen)
Tap View mobile tickets
Tap Lions v W coast game
Tap view barcode

How the hell do you access your membership barcode?

This. Does anyone know?

Eg ticketing websites ask members for their barcode to get access to members tickets.

4. Member Ticketing Hub.
5. Take the interstate option.
6. sign into your membership.
your email followed by your lions app password.

Okay that was as far as I got as I forget my password, I'll do it later.
but the young lass at the lions said to pick an event and from there the seats available should show up.
They should show Lions prefered seats.
Have a crack.
i'll reset my password tonight and have a crack at the Collingwood game.

Someone needs to ring membership and clear it up, I remember having trouble with this in the past and had to ring, I can not recall how it was resolved.

Log into membership with email and password
My details were saved so automatically logged in after clicking membership.

Once loged in
At the top right of screen your name should appear. Click the down arrow icon to the right of your name.
Click "attendance details"

Looking at the top game on the screen click "View details" over to the right.
Your members barcode is located here.
Write it down somewhere for later use.

I choose a few of the games and the barcode is the same.

Ok just tried to get it through with the membershipo barcode and it said .

"Unfortunately there are no entitlements for this members code."
Yeah that would be right.

You can still purchase tickets without using your barcode, but you are not neccessarily in the lions area.
Oh well , could be right in the middle of Pie fans,
Thinking about the away cheersquad end or thereabouts.

Does anyone know where the General Admission area will be for the Lions supporters on Friday night vs Melbourne?
I am going with my daughter tonight (we are members), and each time it is the city end near the goals (where the practice nets are).

Was interesting to see the top tier at that end was completely closed last year. Crowd 38k. But it was open for the Hawthorn game this year, where the crowd was only 36k. Will be interested to see what they do there tonight.

Game this time last year was 1 v 2, while this year it's 3 v 4... Wonder if the crowd will be bigger or smaller than last year 🤔

Not sure how up to date this is but the article was written today

AFL membership numbers 2023

Richmond currently leads membership numbers in 2023, with league-leader Collingwood likely to be closer to its members record than the last update of 90,000 suggests.

GWS appears prepped to follow Sydney and break its own greatest tally, with NSW and Queensland football clubs continuing their upward trend.

Seems odd or at the least statistically unlikely that the following teams have exactly > Pies 90,000, Suns 20,000, Hawks 55,000, Swans 62,000 members so far this year.:shrug:

The Pies just average the number to the nearest 10,000 similar to the Suns ;)

Is anyone having trouble downloading their mobile membership tickets for the game today?

It’s sold out isn’t it? So if you hadn’t already done it (effectively purchased a ticket, which downloading member ticket kind of does)..? Unless you’re a reserved seat kinda person?
