Matt Crouch was worth that around 2016-2020 tbhThis reminds me of that thread a few years back, where a couple of nuffie Crow fans were seriously talking up an early second rounder for a SANFL Matt Crouch…

This was end of 2021 IIRC, when he was playing SANFL and you guys were basically booting him out the door.....Matt Crouch was worth that around 2016-2020 tbh
He was injured all of 2021, Only became a SANFL regular last yearThis was end of 2021 IIRC, when he was playing SANFL and you guys were basically booting him out the door.....
Yeah he’s not worth port paying him much but he’s worth a first round pick…. absolutely makes % SEN sense.Just when I thought Kane couldn't get any worse.
“That’s ok, I’d probably let him go and try to get a first round pick for him.”
The caveat surrounding Georgiades and his Port Adelaide future
The 21-year-old is out of contract this year.www.sen.com.au
Kane really seems to have some out there thoughts about trade value, not just for Port players eitherYeah he’s not worth port paying him much but he’s worth a first round pick…. absolutely makes % SEN sense.
Well, he said Ladhams was a first rounder lol.Just when I thought Kane couldn't get any worse.

You're not getting a bloke average 11 disposals, 18 hit outs and 0.2 goals for 1 million in this economy. 2 minimum.Kane 'Tom Dekoning is worth 1 million a year' Cornes.
Yeah nah
Why did west Coast get lucky ?And also West Coast, Port Power got very lucky with that trade.
West Coast had 2 WA targets in mind so were willing to trade for pick 2 for unders, no clubs would trade pick 2 for 9 and 14 so Port Power got very lucky. Why did west Coast get lucky ?
We gave up pick 2 + rioli + 40 in that multi club trade
In reality its 2 for 9 + 14
and
rioli + 40 for 33 + 51
More to it than that.West Coast had 2 WA targets in mind so were willing to trade for pick 2 for unders, no clubs would trade pick 2 for 9 and 14 so Port Power got very lucky.
GCS asked for a premium for either pick 2 or 3 who they used to drafted Lukoscious and Rankine in the 2018 draft. They wanted 2 1st rounders with one of them either pick 4 or 5.More to it than that.
Same reason GC traded their pick #2 back when.
They didn't think the players there would be sticking around their whole career
Port were lucky that Sheezel, wardlaw and tsatas all pulled the go home card ?West Coast had 2 WA targets in mind so were willing to trade for pick 2 for unders, no clubs would trade pick 2 for 9 and 14 so Port Power got very lucky.
Both GWS and West Coast accepted unders which allowed Port Power to receive well overs in that trade.Port were lucky that Sheezel, wardlaw and tsatas all pulled the go home card ?
West coast don't really chase WA guys in the first round .
The club has said on multiple occasions that we draft players based on talent and if we have 2 players rated the same we will choose the local guy first .
Before last year we hadn't draft a WA lad in the first round since Sheed (2013) .
2 for 9 + 14 is a s**t deal but it turned out alright with the 2 we drafted .
Still feel that we got a s**t deal in the mega trade and basically gave away rioli for a pick in the 40s .
Rioli can GAGF after all the support we gave him
That was a stupid trade to get a player who wasn't even an A grader just because he wanted to come back home to the GC.I was talking about the year they traded their pick #2 to Freo
They had just lost the biggest player on their list, had a heap of cash to spend and needed a win of bringing in a player for a change. That was a stupid trade to get a player who wasn't even an A grader just because he wanted to come back home to the GC.
It makes perfect sense to be home around your family and love ones after a serious medical procedure. And Adelaide has a good rap with specialist surgeons.
Wonder where he will stay for the rehab.
Hawthorn had a fair bit of interest in Mitch last year. Port were even aware of it.If West Coast finish second last you'd be laughing if you get anything close to pick #20 in a trade.
I think you'll be offered pick #39 and it will offend you, but West Coast won't have any competition for Mitch from Hawthorn.
Not with an ACL I wouldn't have thought. Will net them a second rounder on potential you would think
Pick 20!It makes perfect sense to be home around your family and love ones after a serious medical procedure.
As flights should be avoided after any surgery; I expect he will be in Perth for some time.
Where there is an opportunity for the Eagles to get into his ear; his choice will be play for a bottom team or plays finals in 2024.
Port has a recent history of trading back into the draft; therefore, I expect Port to be trading players at year end.
Like Amon last year, it is a win, win for both the player and club.
If he indeed Georgiades decided to stay in Perth, the Eagles second rounder, curently Pick 20 could facilitate a fair trade.
